Untapped Creatives

Untapped Creatives was founded to create a bridge between the premium consumer and retail, where Black brands are under-represented and difficult to find.  Founded by Funmi Scott in 2020, Untapped Creatives is a platform representing Black-owned British luxury lifestyle brands. U|C foster relationships with Black brand owners, securing long-term sales channels in which they can thrive. They also partner with premium retailers and corporates through their innovative Afro-Luxe Concepts, with their premier partnership with Selfridges from April 2021.

The Need

Untapped Creatives needed a digital marketing agency to lead their big launch in 2021. Pink Ship Ltd were responsible for social media management, content creation and branding.

The Solution

Pink Ship worked with Untapped Creatives for 2 months and developed their branding, formed their social media marketing strategy, increased the following by 272.5% and built momentum around the brand leading up to the launch.



We built a social media strategy based around educational content, luxury visual imagery and social proof.

This also included cross promotional activities like IG lives, influencer collaborations and repurposing high profile press features.
